What We Can Do For You
Consider this: Twenty 225 page books printed at $12 each; full color cover design at a flat rate of $35.00 (no extra charge per book for full color); flat rate for shipping in the US via UPS is $20. These books are not cheap 10 cent novel types, but are perfect bound 6 X 9 books like you would pay up to $24.95 for in the book store. We will include fifty calling cards FREE with any book order of thirty or more books. We can also create greeting cards with your book cover on them and your message inside as to where to order the book etc. We will place your book on our site with a link to your website, and we have an arrangement to put your book up for sale on our site as well. We also do comb binding for such things as cook books. Prices will vary depending on the makeup of your cook book. We find many people like to get recipes from relatives and combine them for books to be received by each member and they split the cost of production. We think this is a great idea for things such as wedding gifts and family reunions.
Then, consider that reorders on that 225 page book (minimum of twenty copies), would be priced at $10 per book. Now, it becomes affordable to have your book printed. If you sell ten to twelve of the first twenty books at a reasonable retail price, that will pay for a reorder of twenty books, and some bucks in your pocket. The cover design has already been paid for, so there is no charge on reorders. Sell the second twenty books and you are making money, plus your name is getting out there.
As an alternative, we offer another plan that might be more to your liking and cost considerably less. We will create a full color cover, print your book of up to 300 pages, send you four copies of the book and place it on both our websites for sale. We use a secure server to handle credit card purchases, so it it easy for readers to buy your book from our sites. Each time a copy of your book sells, you will receive twenty percent of the selling price and we will handle printing and shipping to the buyer.
What You Can Do For Us
Most book printers require you to jump through hoops to get your book ready for printing. They ask you to do all the work to set your book up "print ready." Quite frankly, it is not an easy thing to do. It must be sized with the exact side, top and bottom margins, it has to be a particular format that printers like, and when it comes to a color cover, WHOA, Baby!
We have none of that! You send your manuscript on a CD or as a file attachment to an email. If your e-mail server will not let you send that large a file, you can break your story into two or three parts and send it. We'll put it back together. All that we ask, and this is very important, is you single space your manuscript and have but one space between sentences. Then, we will do the necessary setup for printing. You can order your book with one of our stock covers, you can create your own cover with our guidelines as to sizing it, or we can create a custom cover with your own artwork you send us. If you'd like, we will print one book and send it to you to be sure it is exactly as you want. This will give you a chance to see your cover and read the text to find any errors. You fix the errors in your manuscript and send us the new copy for printing. Because of the time involved in printing but one book and making changes, we must charge twenty-five dollars $25.00 for this service. If you order a minimum of twenty books we will apply this $25 to your order. You can click here to pay the $25 with a credit card, then send your manuscript via email to us. We will send your sample book within 72 hours.
It is that simple. We can also print booklet type books up to fifty pages in about any size that are sewn or stapled at the spine. For these, send us the copy and we will send you a quote.
