Marketing Your Book

With each book order, you will receive a free booklet with many marketing ideas and the story of how I marketed my self-published book, "Can't You Hear The Whistle Blowing?" 

With your permission, we will list your book here at our site, with a short excerpt from your book on its own page.  If you like, we will sell your book as a print on demand.  You set the selling price and we will print and mail the book to the buyer.  Traditional publishers pay you a royalty of 4 to 5 percent on the wholesale price of your book.  We will pay you 25 percent of selling price, as long as the price is at least $15.95.  On a book priced at $15.95, you will receive $4.00 for each book sold.  We will also place a link to your website on your page for buyers to contact you.

Also, if you have a website, we will place your title for sale on our other site, http://www.booksbybill.com.  Or, we will place a link to your website along with your title and name at booksbybill.

When you place  your first book order, you will be given a customer number.  Always use that number so we can immediately identify you and your account.  

Why would I offer to do all the extras without charge?  Because I have experienced all the frustrations of trying to get published and finally self-publishing my first book.  Because of the huge minimum larger book printers require, it cost me an arm and a leg and I ended up with a huge stack of boxes filled with books.  I looked at them and said to myself, "Gee, sure is nice to have my name on that cover.  Really looks good!  But, what the hell am I going to do with all these?"

Through trial and error, I put together a pretty good plan that paid off and I finally got rid of all those books, reordered etc.    I'll not make a penny off any books you sell with my help.  I will just increase your need for more books and I will be here to print them for you.

Also, as a marketing tool, if you will be placing your book in a bookstore, I can create a simple easel with the cover of your book on it and a message such as OUR LATEST ARRIVAL!  The price is $5.00, which includes mailing.  We will, in the future, come up with other marketing tools and have them available.  If you do not have a website, 1&1 web servers is so economical it is almost free.  Click the banner below and check out what they offer.
